Someone told me that when she turns on the mobile features, her phone number
will be visible on the information section. That's not true, Facebook will not
show your phone number to anyone if you set the phone number to invisible mode,
setting of "visible or invisible' phone numbers nothing to do with mobile
features. Mobile features on Facebook to notify you about some things, i.e.:
1. Notifications: notify you when your "friend request" approved. Notifications will be sent directly to your mobile phone number.
2. Facebook Messages: if you are offline and someone sends a message to your inbox, the message will be sent directly to your mobile phone number.
The advantage of this feature is someone does not need to know your phone number to send text messages to your mobile phone.
