How to view a hidden hard drive on windows 7

My point here is not the drive is hidden because of the changes made through the registry, but because of other factors due to error or damage to the hard drive sector, so that windows 7 does not display it.

I share this because I experienced it myself, where one of my hard drive partitions or indeed any part of the sector that has been damaged, so it's automatically hidden on windows 7 (maybe everyone's experience is different.). So if one day you experience it, do not be surprised and become confused.

To enable the hard disk so that you can use again, just follow the steps below.
1. Click start, type "computer management" as seen in the picture below!.

Click "Computer Management"

2. Select "Disk Management" as seen in the picture below!.

You will see a disk that is not given a drive letter

3. Right-click on the drive and then click "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."

4. Then you will see a dialog as shown below, click on the "Add" button!

5. Given two options to give the label on the drive, assign the following drive letter or mount in the following empty NTFS. I recommend choose the "assign the following drive letter".

And finally, click "OK" button to apply.
