I created this application to monitor Sent and Receive data plan. Why do I make this program?, I make this little program to monitor suspicious program activities.
When computers are connected to the internet, then we do not have 100% control
over the incoming and outgoing data. Computer antivirus sometimes helps, but
sometimes does not work as we would expect.
Simply put, I was able to make a small program that can determine whether a
computer connected or not to the internet. So also with malicious programs, they
can be designed to act like it.
That's why I created this program, when our computers are connected to the
internet so we know whether or not there other programs that try to use our data
plan to receive or sent data from a server or from our PC.
What programs are often using our data plan without our knowledge?
1.
Live update program.
Several asked for permission first before forwarding actions, but there are
several who do not ask for permission (which can reduce the very large internet
quota).
2. Websites that load the video/audio content.
Wireless modem data packet is limited. I am one modem users with data plan with
the specified quota. I should be able to control the use of data plan in a
month. You know the video that we access through youtube, the longer the duration of
the video, the more our data plan are used.
3. Malicious programs like spyware.
Malicious programs such as spyware will never ask for your permission. They will
send information from your PC to their skipper in accordance with predetermined
intervals and when your PC is connected to the internet.
If the information sent small capacity, maybe we would not leery. However, if
the information sent with large capacity (i.e computer screenshots & keystroke),
then we should suspect it. From the above chronology, what are the benefits of this program for you? This program will appear on the screen (under the mouse pointer) when your data
packet is used (both sent and receive), and will disappear a few seconds later
when the data packet is not in use.
